Fairfax Just Opened a NEW Trail — And It Has a Tree Gap!

Back in Fairfax to finally get a proper session on the jumps at Cake Boss. This new Marin County trail has been getting a lot of buzz lately, and while that opening rock roll is definitely a mental game, I really wanted to focus on the airtime this time around.

The flow on this trail is top-tier for the Bay Area, especially once you get the timing right on the hip jump and the tree gap. Fairfax is legendary for its technical singletrack, but seeing more progression-focused jump lines like this popping up is a huge win for the local scene. I’ve been stoked to get back out here and really dial in these features. The hip jump and the tree gap are easily the highlights of the run.
